Ability Performance Testing

 

Thank you for taking your time out of your busy schedule and welcome to the Ability Performance Test. If you are reading this and doing these test, that means you care about your body, performance and well being. This is a 33 point system testing the function of your muscles, range of motion, flexibility and the ability to perform simple task. Whether it is reaching for an item in the supermarket or squatting down to pick something up, you want to make sure that you have the ability to perform these tasks without much effort. The ability test in this packet are meant to teach you how to properly move and avoid future injuries. In this packet you will discover the imbalances that you may have. Poor motor control, tight tissue and incorrect movement may lead to injury.

One of the movements that is analyzed heavily is the back squat which necessitates coordinated firing of numerous muscle groups. The proficiency of the back squat can translate into many everyday tasks that you do which include carrying objects and lifting.

The purpose of this packet it to seek and find your dysfunctions and learn how to correct them. The exercises and stretches in this packet should be in conjunction with soft tissue therapy from a trusted provider. Doing these stretches and exercises alone without soft tissue work will not give you optimal performance. The packet covers the following common faults during working out.
